‘Dear Mr Detail, I have published a book of poetry title “Now let’s come the light”. I sent hundreds of copy of this book to literary critics , magazines and newspaper for a reviewing but nothing happened. Nothing. Nothing. What can I do in order to get the attention of the literary critics?’ , he said.

 

‘Dear Mr Low Profile, I am aware of your problem. I have a solution of it. After you finished writing the book of poetry go to the main square of the town with a gun and make fire to the mayor. Imagine the titles of newspaper! “Gentle poet kills the mayor!” or better “Brutal homicide, a poet kills the mayor!”. That’s the news! Realise the fact that poetry does not make news. The crime makes news. Anyway I do not advise you to do it ; the reality is that if you are a professional criminal you got a few years of imprisonment. Else if you are a poet you get immediately the death penalty. Poets are gullible and disarmed. They rebound themselves writing poems : I am sincere hence I tell you that poets are endured by the society because they do not make damage to anybody. A poet is a brutal criminal man but actually he now is engaged his hands for typing poems’, he said.

 

‘Oh Mr Detail , very sweet!’, she said.
