louise in southafrica during the second half of 19th century

Jenny Marx  [Kurze Umrisse eines bewegten Lebens, 1865.]

During the year 1853 Marx wrote two articles a week for the american newspaper “Tribune”. In America the marxist thought was very important. I and Karl with our family lived in London and the income from the “Tribune” was a great relief for our children. Some articles written by Karl were also printed in fly-sheets then my husband became famous also in the House of Commons.

In the summer of the same year Louise Marx, the sister of Karl, and Juta got married. They visited us in London before going to Cape Town where Juta wished manage a bookstore. We took beautiful days in that summertime.

This snippet text from the letter of Jenny Marx rises a question : have Juta and Louise got fortune in South Africa ?
